Multi Touch PC

Looking to create a cost-effective but fully functional multi-touch surface computer that the user could theoretically build at home, the team at Maximum PC started their project with a budget of $500 and an emphasis on using as many recycled parts as possible. By reusing an old PC and stripping the optics out of a Sony 'PS3 Eye" camera, the team was able to create the computer shown above for $350 while retaining the full multi-touch experience for the user.
