This course situates the pressing contemporary situation of U.S.-dwelling undocumented migrant children within the broader contet of global capitalism, migration and displacement, and the politics of citizenship and belonging. The struggle for educational justice relates directly to this generation of students, especially those in the Global Poverty and Practice minor, who are concerned with issues of inequality and social movements that grow out of unequal power relations.
